Our Journey

Our business was started in 1994 by Kim Arcata, her father, Mike Nargi who brought with him years of recipes and experience from Michael's Bakery in East Hartford that was opened in 1946.

Day Hill Deli is now run by Kim and her daughter Alex, who grew up around the deli and bakery industry. The Baking is now done by Jim Nargi, the previous owner of Michael's Bakery.

Day Hill Deli is known for their fast service and fresh food. Soup, sandwiches, wraps, salads are all made fresh. Breakfast sandwiches and coffee are got and fresh every morning. And the pastries, cinnamon bites and cookies are the time honored recipes of Michael's Bakery from 1946.
